The WhoDares weekend, is a military based weekend delivered by the #FORRONAN charity, working with junior sports teams, to develop their resilience, teamwork, and communication skills, as well as instilling high levels of discipline, to an authentic military standard
During the course of the programme, the young people will be subject to military style drills, learning skills such as how to camouflage properly, and remain hidden from enemies, fish gutting, military first aid ( team mate losing a limb etc).
The young people will be expected to have immaculate time keeping, organisation, independence skills, failure to do so, means whole team forefits.
The programme will bring the team together closer than ever before, and install a true ‘ no man/woman left behind’ mentality. They will face a series of challenges whereby even one person not pulling their weight, will mean failure for the whole team.
Whether the young person is the loudest/quietest, strongest/weakest, fastest/slowest member of the team, they will have their opportunity to lead the team, and will be taught the skills to do so.
So the question is, WHO DARES?
